# Quickstart

> Install the Soma CLI, sign in and ask your first question.

    A single binary, no Node or Python needed. Its checksum is verified before it is installed.

    The first time, your browser opens to sign in with your Soma account. Then pick a workspace and ask away.

    Soma searches your documents and its knowledge graph, then answers with numbered sources:

    ```

    Follow up with `soma ask -c "…"`.
